Karra Lasendar

Karra was a slave for most of her life, until a few years ago when she was freed by her dear friend and closest companion, Everenne Cace. After many adventures with him, they parted ways and Karra began her life as a freed woman. It was during this early transition period that Karra met Nadril, a man whom she fell in love with. Nadril seemed to love her as well, and indeed it seemed like they might be right for each other. But Karra got pregnant, and Nadril showed his true colors; unwilling to be a parent, he abandoned Karra and has never seen her nor contacted her since.
Left on her own, Karra settled in a town for a while during her pregnancy. She gave birth to a child, a son that she named Robin, because that was the bird singing outside her window as she held her baby for the first time. Once he was old enough, she started to travel again, bringing her boy with her. Her goal was to find a place where she could settle down and truly have a home. Such travels brought her to a town called Peddler's Hollow, where she has acquired the bakery called the Bread Basket. Her time at the Peddler's Hollow has been quite the adventure, with interactions with dragons, vampires, lycans, faes, and more! While her struggles are great during the difficult time in her life following her friend Xue's death, Karra finds herself connecting with the Hollow, and hopes that this may be the one place that she might be able to call home.

Karra was sold into slavery by her own parents when she was very young. She has been in slavery ever since, being passed from master to master, going through several slave trades. She has been physically and sexually abused, thus making her develope an intense fear of men, and even women to an extent. Failed attempts at escape has taught her to know better, and even if she did not enjoy a task she would always do it without complaint. For a time, she was rendered mute by the things that were happening to her, and she'd become the perfect slave; silent, yet obeying every order without a hint of hesitation.

Karra, however, escaped her latest master and is currently on the run. Scared and untrusting, she desperately searches for a way to free herself from the bonds of slavery. Free herself she must, for no one else would do it. She was alone in the world, and she felt like that would never change.
